Shelly: Did someone have cake last night.

Boyd: No

Shelly: (noticing missing cake) Someone had cake last night.

Boyd: No, Gracie had some this morning.

Shelly: You gave Gracie cake for breakfast?

Boyd: Yes

Shelly: Why?

Boyd: She asked for it.

Shelly: (long silent stare)

Boyd: She also asked for popcorn, but I said no.
