It's a little bittersweet but we are so grateful Boyd has kept his job! He is really going to miss all of his co-workers that were not placed so it's really hard to be jumping for joy. The layoff was a lot more than they were anticipating and we are again so grateful to have a job in these uncertain times.
We all went to Maple Gardens to celebrate as a family. Eating out as a family is something we don't do very often so the kids were thrilled. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend full of stress free family time (something that has not happened in a long time!) As for other celebrations? Well, we decided to increase our food storage...we are so SPONTANEOUS-I know!!

Congratulations! That has got to take a load off. Now you don't have to worry about that.
Wheww what a relief I have been worried about Boyd's job. It is the pits to be job hunting in this economy. What a blessing for your sweet family.
Yeah! I have been thinking about you, I am so glad things worked out well. It's so hard with this economy right now.
And that is so funny because we always go out to dinner to celebrate things.
I love that you are always getting prepared for the future! i also love that I am within walking distance if need be! ;)
I am clueless! Had no idea you were going through that and did not even hear about the layoffs. I am so glad his job was saved! You did not need to go through that again!
