Gracie has recently discovered Elmo! When we decorated for Christmas I found the Happy Holidays Elmo DVD and put it on for the kids. She has been asking for "La, La" around the clock ever since. You'll notice she is clearly annoyed by my taking pictures of her and blocking the T.V. She has also discovered that Emma and Hudson know how to turn it on and is very good at letting them know what she wants. When Emma asks her what she wants for Christmas, she is quick to reply "la, la". It brings back memories of Emma lazing in her Elmo chair at around the same age. What is it with this furry, red monster? They love him!

I don't know what it is about Elmo but Declan adores him to. He called him "Melmo" for the last few months. When he got tired he'd walk around the house with his sippy cup and blankie moaning "Melmo, Melmo". He is obsessed!

Easton will still get excited when Sesame Street happens to show up on TV. It's very weird- so cute though. I'll say it again; "I can't believe how big Gracie is." Sorta breaks my little auntie heart. While you are teaching her to say Eason, will you throw in a couple aunt Chars as well? I mean- if she knows Elmo...don't you think she should know is? Maybe I should make her a video of us... I can even call it chars world.
Ahh yes, Elmo...such fond memories of that fuzzy red creature! Not sure why kids such an attachment to him. She is hilarious, I can just hear her getting mad that you are in the way of her view! Love her lots, I'll me eye out for "elmo" gear for Gracie so I can be the favorite!
