Hudson lost the training wheels yesterday and has not wanted to get off his bike since. I don't think there are many things cuter than a kid riding on a tiny bike. Their legs just churn and churn and they don't go very fast because the bike cranks are so small.
My brother came into town with his family to visit last week. We decided to take the kids out to the Great Salt Lake. The kids had a ball, but it was pretty hard for the adults. It was hot, there was no shade, and if you look really hard you can see the lake behind this picture of Sammy. Yeah it was quite a walk in the sand to get to the water.
Once you get to the water, you find the brine flies. The picture below doesn't give the image justice, but here is Jonah running through the brine flies and they are swarming away. Looking at his feet, it looks like sand is getting kicked up, but it is the brine flies.
Gracie loves the big pit in the backyard. We are putting in a sandbox, but I think Gracie prefers the Mudbox.

Your kids are sooo cute! We have never done the Great Salt Lake thing, and now we may never. :) It's a good thing kids can always see the good in everything, or we wouldn't do a lot of activies we do.
