The kids helped me make some yummy Valentine's cookies on Wed. I was taking dinner to someone and it was a good excuse to make them. Gracie mostly just ate the frosting and picked off the sprinkles. I neglected to take a picture of the finished product, go figure.

So cute! It's such a treat for the kids, but such a pain I need to think to do it more often, looks like they had lots of fun!
do you like how I am commenting on every post??? Well, I love how you make sugar cookies for every holiday- you are such a great mom... I think they are fun as well, but they really are a pain- and a mess! I made valentine sugar cookies for a bake sale and I was totally stressed out because I forgot and so I had to do them at like 9:00 sunday night. So here I am frosting sugar cookies all through the night (without Easton I might add- sort of defeats the purpose of doing sugar sookies without your child to put on sprinkles...don't you think?) THEN...go figure, the bake sale wasn't until Tuesday. Bummer. So all my hard work and stress was for people to buy day-old cookies. yum. ...at least they sold I guess. :)
Hey that reminds me- (sorry I think this is the longest post ever) I saw a bumper sticker that reminded me of you... it said:
"It will be a great day in America when our schools have all the money they need, and the Air Force has a book fair to raise money to build a bomber."
I thought it was sorta funny considering your book fair story...silly Oregonians- don't they realize that bimbers are important??!!! HA!HA!
